Accountant Ian Pierce is to plead to charges of disobeying a summons to provide documents and testimony to the investigation into the government's arms deal when he appears in the Pretoria Regional Court again on November 13.

Pierce (43) appeared briefly in the court this morning. He was not asked to plead, and the case was postponed for plea and trial.

The court heard on October 1, at his first court appearance, that Pierce would contend that he had not seen the subpoena.

Pierce was a member of the board of Futuristic Business Solutions. He was earlier released on his own recognisance.
