COMMISSION which is paid by Denel to agents who are facilitating arms sales to Saudi Arabia is being investigated by the auditor-general and the directorate for serious economic offences, Finance Minister Trevor Manuel said yesterday. 

Manuel said the investigation started in February 1999. "The bulk of the investigation has been completed. Certain overseas transactions still need to be investigated. The completion of the investigation will depend on access being granted to certain foreign bank accounts."
