A new witness is expected to take the stand in the Schabir Shaik fraud and corruption trial in the Durban High Court on Monday morning.
Prosecutor Billy Downer said the next witness would be Celia Bester, an accountant with Shaik's Nkobi group of companies.
Downer said Bester would testify about the internal accounting and cash flow policies of the group.
On Thursday defence advocate Francois van Zyl completed his cross-examination of KPMG forensic auditor Johan van der Walt.
Van der Walt who was commissioned by the Scorpions to do an audit of Nkobi's affairs and the paper trail linking Shaik to Deputy President Jacob Zuma spent 16 days in the witness box.
However, Van Zyl told Judge Hilary Squires he would "double-check" his notes to ensure that he had covered everything and asked that Van der Walt be back in court on Monday.
Shaik has pleaded not guilty to two charges of corruption and one of fraud.
One of the allegations is that Shaik attempted to get a R500 000 per annum bribe for Zuma in exchange for protection during investigations into arms deal irregularities.
