Pretoria - Richard Young, managing director of CCII Systems and a losing bidder in the country's controversial arms deal, is still fighting to get portions of the auditor-general's report on the R60 billion deal.
Pretoria High Court Judge Annemarie de Vos yesterday declared Auditor-General Shauket Fakie to be in contempt of court for not complying with an order granted nearly two years ago. If Fakie did not comply within two weeks, he could find himself behind bars for a month.
Young is set to sue to government for R150m in damages, claiming the arms deal is corrupt.
