If former deputy president Jacob Zuma and his left-wing cronies come to power in 2009, I foresee the biggest flight of capital and skills from this country since the Sharpeville massacre in 1960.

I only hope that the Mosiuoa Lekota/Kgalema Motlanthe/Cyril Ramaphosa wing of the ANC gains the upper hand in 2007, and that one of the trio goes on to become president in 2009.
