The public is neither naive nor stupid about the Jacob Zuma matter.
To suggest that all those giving financial support to the former deputy president are doing so on humanitarian grounds is to assume that we are stupid.
Why would they spend their finances where there is no return?
If they want to give money to a worthy cause there is no dearth of them in South Africa.
The real question here is what they stand to gain by propping up a man who used to earn in excess of R60000 a month.
The less said about the calibre of our future leaders in the ANC Youth League, the better. Their frenzied denouncement of our esteemed Constitution shows their political and emotional immaturity. It is an affront to all sober-minded South Africans citizens.
I will not undermine my intelligence by referring to the Cosatu leadership, nor will I refer to Ranjeni Munusamy. She is an insult to the practitioners of public relations.
