Highlights

a.      Jacob Zuma agrees to be subjected to a polygraph test under lights and camera – for the benefit of our investigation to compile a political documentary television production; and we shoot him being subjected to a polygraph test. We interview an expert on the reliability of the test result, debate it’s (sic) value and discuss the admissibility of it in a court of law.

b.      Nowhere in the public domain has (sic) exclusive interviews been broadcast or been printed where Jacob Zuma explains his position in great detail, where he gives his views on the judiciary, tells what happened at the “infamous meeting with the French in Durban”

We also have exclusive interviews with the Managing Director of the French Arms company in South Africa, Nelson Mandela, and other relevant figures to this story – of which their revelations are not yet public knowledge.

c.      11 Newspaper and Television editors, Specialist Investigative Journalists, Financial Journalists, Chief Reporters were interviewed for their expert opinion on whether the media had indeed waged a media trial against Jacob Zuma.

d.      Although no voice-over is used throughout the series, a vibrant debate is created by way of selective interview upsounds that are inter-cut with each other, and grouped in themes, to display opposing views and different perspective on the intricacies of each theme.

e.      Our producer commissioned a songwriter, musician and professional vocalist to provide music that is used in the introduction and out credits, that reflects a mood of one of the factions involved in this saga. The Zulu lyrics used in this track reflects (sic) traditional proverbs in their expression of the situation.

f.      To reflect the personal views of Jacob Zuma and his family – and how hey perceive the lengthy saga, we managed to secure four interviews with Mr Zuma over a period of two years at a time when he was not prepared to talk to the media. We also interviewed his three daughters, who give insight into the family’s perspective.

*1      According to his answers to formal questions in Parliament, he never attended the 10/11 March 2000 meeting with Alain Thetard and Schabir Shaikh - how can he have any detailed knowledge of a meeting he never attended?

*2      That the meeting took place was admitted by Shaikh - it is a fact, not an allegation.

Otherwise, this sounds like an absolutely must have DVD or VHS Video.

Theme 9, Manipulation of the Judiciary, sounds like a particularly pithy and credible aspect of Part 4.

I'm recommending and marketing it myself - for free.

Poor old DSTV is going to next just about no ARs for the next couple of months.
