A Day before his lawyers are set to argue in the Pietermaritzburg High Court as they try to keep the Scorpions’ hands off crucial documents in Mauritius, ANC deputy president Jacob Zuma will be the guest of honour at a concert in Pietermaritzburg.

The Friends of Jacob Zuma Trust (FJZ) is planning a concert for Human Rights Month at Harry Gwala Stadium next Wednesday.

Artists such as Kelly Khumalo, the Tsunami Band, Avante and Elvovo will perform and Zuma will deliver an address.

The next day his legal team will go head-to-head with the State, which seeks documents from the Mauritius offices of French arms manufacturer Thint.

The concert proceeds will go towards Zuma’s legal fees.
