Silence on Tshabalala Begs a Few Questions

Surely, when KwaZulu-Natal Judge President Vuka Tshabalala admits to accepting a gift of some R7 million worth of shares from empowered millionaire and possible presidential contender Tokyo Sexwale, this constitutes major national news? Do we simply turn the page when a person in such office can neither explain the gift, nor see the problem?

There has been no follow-up in any of the media, to my knowledge, since the story was broken recently by a weekly investigative publication. Why is that?

Conspiracy theorists *1 may well point to Tshabalala's appointment of Judge Hillary Squires to preside over the fraud and corruption trial of Schabir Shaik "and some serious political setbacks for Zuma".
