Zenoyise Madikwa must surely be joking in her bizarre review of Andrew Feinstein’s book, After the Party.

Simply because the book is critical of the arms deal does not mean that Feinstein never had the interests of oppressed blacks at heart.

Just how does she draw such a conclusion? If white people are critical of the ANC it does not automatically translate into being an enemy of black people.

Surely in a robust democracy one is allowed to disagree, without being labelled a racist.

The arms deal is about as fishy as it gets, especially with Feinstein’s account of events.
