NO ANGEL: Helen Zille
It is high time for someone to put Helen Zille, who is always attacking the ruling party, in her place.
She wants the Scorpions to prosecute Jacob Zuma for his role in the arms deal and is happy that it stings mainly ANC members. That is why she wants the unit to stay.
ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe has agreed to meet her about the future of the Scorpions.
What are they going to discuss because the Scorpions will soon be defunct and merge with the SAPS?
Zille must realise that she is no angel. She is supporting a unit accused of purging our people and stripping them of their dignity.
The fate of the Scorpions was decided in Polokwane and no amount of bickering will bring back its sting.
Zille should rather meet Zuma about fighting poverty, unemployment, HIV-Aids, soaring electricity prices and crime. These are the matters of national interest.
Finally, I believe that there must be amnesty for the people involved in the arms deal because even Eugene de Kock was given a chance to apply for amnesty.
