Britain's High Court today begins a judicial review of the government's decision to stop an investigation into alleged corruption by BAE Systems in an arms deal with Saudi Arabia.

The review was won by Campaign Against Arms Trade and Corner House.

Two high court judges will hear evidence over the next two days as they consider whether the government acted legally.
