Convicted fraudster Schabir Shaik is still a patient at Durban's Inkosi Albert
Luthuli Hospital, KwaZuluNatal's Health Department said yesterday.
Spokesman Sibonela Msomi said media reports saying Shaik was back in prison were
incorrect. "He is still being treated at hospital and we don't know when he will
be discharged," said Msomi.
Shaik was admitted early in April for a deteriorating blood pressure problem.

It must make poor old Schabir quite ill when he knows that
he is the only person in prison as a result of the Arms Deal and reads that Tony
Blair tried to protect BAE Systems, Bulelani Ngcuka and Penuell Maduna tried to
protect Thomson-CSF *1, the new ANC wants an amnesty and the German prosecuting
authority is trying to arrange a plea bargain with ThyssenKrupp so that there
are no custodial sanctions and just minor fines for the natural and juristic
guilty.
Where's that mentholatum?
*1 Clearly on behalf of Thabo Mbeki as chief corruptee and
Thomson-CSF's partner in this most corrupt part of deal *2.
*2 This has already effectively been proven in court -
indeed in Schabir's own trial and consequent appeal to the Supreme Court of
Appeals.
The only question that no one wants to ask let alone answer is :
- Why did Thomson-CSF need to bribe the
Deputy President of the country and Head of Government Business in
Parliament in order to get his protection from an investigation into the
Arms Deal?*3
*3 It's because the President of the country, the Deputy
President of the country, the ruling political party of the country, the Chief
of Acquisitions, inter alia, were all in on the deal.
