Faced with the prospect of losing the Western Cape to a DA-led coalition in
next year's general election, ANC president Jacob Zuma cracked the whip on his
party's divided provincial leadership and ordered them to stop bickering.

"We shall build this organisation. Even God expects us
to rule this country because we are the only organisation which was
blessed by pastors when it was formed.
"It is even blessed in Heaven. That is why we will rule
until Jesus comes back. We should not allow anyone to govern our city
(Cape Town) when we are ruling the country," he said.
With acknowledgement to Cape Argus.
If this was true, we can only hope that Jesus does return
soon, hopefully before April 2009.
This country really does not need to be ruled by the crooked, corrupt, arrogant,
incompetent and blasphemous, not now and certainly not forever, because the
earth is probably only about 50% into its lifespan and relatively for mankind
that is forever; and who's to say when Jesus will return - certainly none of us
here on earth.
Otherwise we've got a new Mugabe on the rise.
Smith at least wanted to limit his tenure to only 1 000 years.
