The cartoon, by Zapiro shows leaders of the ANC, the ANC Youth League, SACP
and Cosatu pinning down Justice while Zuma is undoing his
pants *1.
*1 This is very disturbing.
But so are the ANC's unbridled and ongoing attacks on the judiciary.
Cartoonist Zapiro is not a racist. Indeed he fought with his pens against the
previous regime that was racist.
Neither is Sunday Times Editor Mondli Makhanya a racist.
I do not personally know Mondli Makhanya, but my impression is that he equally
hostile to anyone to attempts to subvert South Africa's hard-won democracy.
He also calls the shots about the content of the Sunday Times.
In my view and regarding the nonsensical and hysterical attempts to procure that
I do not get my days in court to testify against Accused 1 to Accused 3
regarding their days in court answering charges of bribery, corruption, money
laundering, racketeering and fraud, the following are forces hostile to the
revolution that gave us a glimmer of hope for true democracy :
- Jacob Zuma;
- Gwede Mantashe;
- Julius Malema;
- Moe Shaik;
- Pierre Moynot;
- Alain Thetard;
- Jean-Paul Perrier;
- Yann de Jomaron;
- Bernard de Bollardierre;
- Michel Denis;
- Thabo Mbeki;
- Barbara Masekela;
- Chippy Shaik;
- Yusuf Surtee;
- Thales International;
- Thint (Pty) Ltd;
- Thint Holding (Southern Africa) (Pty) Ltd;
- inter alia.
The last 13 persons, natural and juristic, are prima facie clearly in
contravention of Section 217 of the Constitution *2.
So were persons like Joe Modise and Richard Charter, but they have gone to meet
the Great Arbiter in the Sky.
The above-mentioned persons, plus those like Fana
Hlongwane, can be considered to be giving Section 217 of the Constitution *3
that same treatment as poor Justice.
*3 That is :
- Fair;
- Equitable;
- Transparent;
- Competitive; and
- Cost-Effective
.
I suppose expecting these things from the French is a bit
like ordering a large consignment of crisp water biscuits and waiting for one's
allocation of rich, creamy lunar gorgonzola.
