It is in the best interest of Deputy President Jacob Zuma to answer all the questions submitted to him by the National Director of Public Prosecutions, since failure to do so, will invariably lead to a cloud of suspicion to hang over him.
He has been afforded the opportunity to defend himself completely of any accusations and with his selective answering to the questions presented by the Scorpions, he has perpetuated the suspicion around him.
We as the Independent Democrats welcome the response to some of the questions posed by the scorpions and we now call on them, in the event that enough evidence exists, to charge the Deputy President.
This will allow Deputy President Zuma to publicly defend his case in a court of law, where justice will prevail.
